Sunday, Nov. 11 (Remembrance Day):

Veterans can ride for free on all TransLink services on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 by showing their membership card. This free service will also be provided to uniformed members of the armed forces, police and fire departments, Coast Guard, and BC Ambulance.

  • One accessible gate will remain open at all SkyTrain, Canada Line, and SeaBus stations from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Veterans and eligible members will not be required to tap their Compass Cards. Please have membership card ready to display or appear in uniform when boarding buses.

All modes of transit will observe a moment of silence at or near 11 a.m. when they reach a stop.

All services will run on regular Sunday schedules.

Monday, Nov. 12 (Observed):

The observed statutory holiday for Remembrance Day takes place on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018. Service will run as follows:

  • Bus, SeaBus and SkyTrain will operate on a regular weekday schedule with regular weekday fares. SkyTrain will not have additional service during rush hour.
  • West Coast Express will not operate, resuming regular service on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
  • The Compass Customer Service Centre, Lost Property Office, West Cost Express Office, and Access Transit Customer Care will be closed.
  • Compass Customer Service phones at 604.398.2042 will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (no change from usual service).
